The Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC) met for their virtual 2021 Annual Meeting & Leadership Conference on March 17-18. Jeff Henderson, president of the AEC spoke at the conference about the progress the industry has been making and the strategic plans for the AEC's continued success going forward. Henderson became the AEC president in 2016.  Since then, under his leadership, the organization has made great strides to "enlarge the extrusion pie," mount successful trade cases, and work with members to manage AEC resources so members have the ability to respond to what's ahead. As noted in this interview, he believes challenges need to be defined before knowing the best ways to tackle them.
