Summary: In November 2009, WEFA Group, Singen, Germany purchased Hydro Aluminium Cedar Tools, Hydro's U.S. based aluminum extrusion tool and die making facility in Cedar Springs, MI. This is WEFA's first production facility outside of Europe. In the past decade the WEFA Group has perfected the production of CVD coated dies for extrusion of multiport and micro-multiport heat exchanger profiles and specialty heat exchanger tubes. This article gives a brief history of WEFA group and also covers where they are headed as a company in the future.
