On October 8th, 2012, OMAV SpA held a special event at its headquarters in Rodengo Saiano, Italy to celebrate its 60 years of succesful operation manufacturing turnkey equipment for the aluminum extrusion industry. This article presents a look at the company's history, as well as at its future in the extrusion industry, including a look at their new agreement with SMS Meer. Through this agreement, OMAV will manufacture presses designed by SMS and sell them as part of complete extrusion lines.
