•    Description:  The 4th GALM Lightweight Vehicle Manufacturing Summit, held in Detroit, MI, on February 22-23rd, was characterized by impressive evolution focusing on implementing the technologies that have emerged over the past couple of years. This article provides an overview of some of the key presentations of the event, looking at how automotive OEMs are working to integrate the new materials technologies that have been developed in recent years.
