This article provides an overview of the greenfield plant, which is dedicated to the production of aluminum crash management systems (CMS) and structural components designed by Constellium to meet the demands of automakers in the Southeast U.S. The fabrication of aluminum extrusions for the CMS for the BMW X3 sports activity vehicle was demonstrated during the ceremony.
