Since vehicle weight has a direct impact on the efficiency and driving range of BEVs and ULEVs, Constellium partnered with Gordon Murray Design, Innoval, Brunel Centre for Advanced Solidification Technology (BCAST) at Brunel University London to conduct the Aluminium for Ultra Low Emission Vehicles (Al-ULEV) project. This article provides an overview of the £2.9 million project and its results.
