This article looks at the environmentally proactive stance of the company and the steps its has taken to reduce their carbon footprint, including not using chlorine or fluxes, recycling their furnace slag in-house, and recycling their own smoke. The company also recently performed a retrofit and reconfiguration on their sweat furnace and holding furnace with help from High Temp Equipment Inc., as well as installed a new Zmag America, Inc. permanent magnet stirrer, to improve overall efficiency.
