• Description: This article presents the conducted research on the mechanical and electrical properties of wire made of nanostructured Al-Mg-Si alloy, achieved by a method ofsevere plastic deformation (SPD) with subsequent drawing. The simultaneous increase of durability and conductivity achieved, compared to exiting analogs, is shown to positively affect consumer, economic, and performance characteristics of the received product.
