This article looks at the collection and sorting of aluminum scrap and how new and forthcoming technologies can help processors convert zorba (a mixed fraction of nonferrous scrap metals) into furnace ready aluminum feedstock in order to meet domestic opportunities in the U.S. for automotive aluminum.
